Youth Empowerment
The Lavela-Hope Arise programme is established with the core purpose of youth empowerment.
We aim to engage the youth of Msawawa through skills development programmes and by assisting them through positive influence and building their self-esteem and resilience.
We foster a commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. At-risk young people in Msawawa have lost faith in the possibility of improving their lives. Exposure to a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect is essential.
